Missouri USDA Exhibit at Rural Development Conference

According to the USDA, leaders from 34 countries gathered in Memphis for the 10th annual Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD)* Rural Development Conference to discuss international strategies to address rural development in the 21st century.  Topics discussed include, creating jobs, building infrastructure, expanding access to health care, and making diversified rural investments.  The theme of this year’s conference “National Prosperity through Modern Rural Policy: Competitiveness and Well-Being in Rural Regions” engages the world’s leading policy officials, international experts and private sector representatives to discuss how modern policies can help rural areas reach their full economic potential, support national growth and be globally competitive.

The first day of the conference, the Missouri USDA program hosted a rural exhibitor show, showcasing “rural initiatives” that fit with the theme of the conference.  Missouri was one of 15 states selected to show case exhibitors at the conference.  The Missouri USDA state directors selected six exhibitors to feature, one of which was our Drink Natures Power juice drink, which is an ultra-premium blend of natural juices; elderberry, apple, raspberry, blueberry, and gooseberry, that promote good health and wellness.

Drink Natures Power juice drink is a perfect blend of natural fruit juice which was physician formulated and created by our blend team and expert juice tasters. We created a nutritious juice that has health benefits and great taste!

Nature’s Power is an all natural juice made with USDA organic ingredients. We never add any preservatives, we bottle in BPA free bottles and no GMO’s are used.  Our bottling facility is located in rural Hermann, Missouri, providing jobs for the local economy. Natures Power juice drink will be in select stores in Missouri in August, 2015; Clover’s Natural Market in Columbia, MO and Lucky’s Market in Ellisville, MO.

The elderberries were grown on our USDA certified organic farm, Nature’s Organic Haven, located on the Missouri River bluffs across the river from Hermann, Missouri. Our elderberries are cultivated using sustainable farming practices that are good for the environment and healthier for you.  We are committed to minimizing our environmental impact and managing our farm in a way that enhances stewardship of natural resources. We are pursuing this approach even further by building programs that can help educate the next generation of farmers.

“It was an honor to be selected by the Missouri USDA program to be one of a select group showcased at this prestigious conference” said Phyllis Hannan, owner of Drink Nature’s Power and Nature’s Organic Haven.  “We are passionate about our mission, from growing, production, and education about the health benefits of elderberry juice.”
